love thursday: when dogs become sisters
Are you feeling like there’s been a severe lack of canine love around here lately?
Maybe on the blog, but here at home Luna and Stella have only become closer and closer; a little while ago, I showed you how they ganged up to destroy an unsuspecting snowman and started snoozing together in front of the space heater.
Well they’ve since turned their (adopted) sisterly love up a notch or twelve:
Happy Love Thursday everyone!
That’s just too sweet. I love when our two boys snuggle and act all brotherly. Though considering Charlie likes to soften (cat that he is) and Griiffin is always afraid of being softened (dog that he is) it doesn’t happen all that often.
LA Blogger Gal’s last blog post..Are You Near a William Sonoma Outlet?
Aw, well it’s nice that every now and again they can meet in the middle π
oh my, how precious!

Hee hee. I agree π
Aaaawww! That is just too cute!
Absolute Vanilla… (& Atyllah)’s last blog post..More this, that and the other…
I thought so too π
That’s a lot better than having two dogs that like to fight all of the time. My two males cats have their moments of sleeping together. I should take some pictures of these rare moments.
It’s absolutely better! They never fought too much, but they were never this close before either. You should definitely take photos, but then I’ll always say that π
Molto carina!
nyc/caribbean ragazza’s last blog post..Sono qui in Roma. (I am here in Rome)
All Italian all the time now Ragazza π
Makes you wonder if they’ve somehow (through dog speak?) shared their pasts with one another causing them to bond so. Perhaps they both feel like, ahhhh….we’re finally in a loving, caring home where we can relax, count on good food, walks, and petting at regular intervals and finally unwind and just be ourselves now.
π Happy girls……
Aw those are such happy thoughts! Warms a doggie mamma’s heart π
What else is there to say but….aaaaaawwwwwww, how cute π

Canine love is here and strong Anno!
Awww – so cute!! Don’t ya just love to watch them? They look so content. Not a care in the world!
Other than “When do we eat/go out?” they really *don’t* have a care I don’t think….
How absolutely cute!

Janet’s last blog post..Love Thursday
Oh I wish they could too Janet; it’s so fun to watch these two play (and sleep) π
Kinda make me wish my sister is close by.
Andie Summerkiss’s last blog post..Ramblings
Aw, give her a call Andie…but depending on your sister’s sense of humor, you might or might not mention that a photo of two dogs made you think of her π
But it is much more exciting here with Alison’s cat hissing and growling at everything that moves. Yesterday was the first day she got the idea that she MIGHT not be human and that those creatures outnumbered her. It was also the first time her regal feet hit earth. She was quite a show.
Give the gals a pat for me.

Pats have been given; I’m not sure I could back to life with a kitty–and all the kitty-proofing that’s required….
Oh, how cute is that?!

AWWWW!!!!! You know, I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before or not, but my brother’s new dog, Diamond, looks a whole lot like your girls. I get to enjoy some puppy love tonight, as I’m going over there for dinner. Yay!!!

too cute! I now want a sister for my dog (also named Stella)!
Woohoo for the Stellas! Our Luna came first, but there’s no reason it can’t work the other way around π
I’m feeling the love. I always get a big smile when I see fotos of the pooches.
They are “two peas in a pod”.

Glad you’re feeling it Cheeky, and I hope you’re well π
This makes me happy, just seeing these two sister cuddle side by side. I wish my two “monsters” could do the same! π
Hah, my mom always called her dog and cat monsters–they got along similarly as yours I imagine π
How cute! Cuddling is one of the best things in the world, no matter what your species! π

I also have two dogs, but they sadly do not sleep together…they are littermates though. The photo makes my heart soar! π
Oh that’s funny that they’re littermates and don’t sleep together. Sibling rivalry π
Oh, they are SO CUTE.
Thank you. π
Our pleasure π
They’re beautiful! I wish my twin sons would snuggle like that π (actually they did when they until they were about 3 weeks old, those days are long gone!)

sweet π
now I’ve seen cats do that often enough, but not grown dogs before. I am glad they do get on so well, and so cutely.
You know now that you mention it, I’ve never seen grown dogs sleep together either. Truth be told, they play so hard together that they seem to just collapse where they land π
