Love Thursday: Love Via Cappuccino Across the Miles

Last week we were hearting coffee, and now it’s cappuccino’s turn.

This gorgeous photo was sent to me by my friend Nicole, who wrote:

“I took this picture at the best Italian bakery in Northern California…and I took it with you in mind!”

Love via cappuccino across the miles

How sweet is that?

Love via cappuccino across the miles!

The bakery in question, by the way, is Emporio Rulli in Larkspur, California. If you’re in the area, spread the love, drop in, and tell ’em Bleeding Espresso sent you!

Happy Love Thursday everyone!

Oh my God!!! I’m from NorCal, and I go there all the time. Yes, their coffee and pastries are truly the best. I’d say the most authentic next to the bakeries in North Beach (I thought the capp looked familiar :)) Thanks to you, Michelle, and your amica for sharing this. I think I’ll go there tomorrow…Buona amore giovedi!

Glad to take you on a little virtual trip home 🙂

Fancy one of your readers being a customer of the Cafe` !

The town has a pretty name – ‘Larkspur’ are amongst my favourite cottage flowers. I let them self seed in the vegetable patch as softens the look !

This posts is going to provoke me into making one heck of a mess in the kitchen one of these days when I try making some Cappuccino on my own.

I just mastered the electric mokka I got at Christmas!

Congrats, and *do* take photos of your cappuccino attempts please 😉

  4. How nice of your friend to send you some cappucino love.

    Happy Love Thursday.

I love it when the milk on the top of the cappuccino forms an image! Of course, a heart is the best, but sometimes there’s a clover or an apple…

I’ve been to the Emporio Rulli! My sister belonged to the dessert of the month club one year. Since I am not a coffee drinker, I opted to buy a lovely apron from them. I can still remember the instructions to get there on one of our bakery excursions, somewhat disconcerting for us. From the freeway, take the exit marked San Quentin Prison….

Hah, that’s hilarious! Would definitely stick in your mind though….

i go there at least 4 days a week! i get their double cappuccino and it makes me so happy just to look at it, but even better to drink it 🙂

Who knew so many people in Northern Cal read Bleeding Espresso? Sounds great to me Jill 🙂

    I ADORE RULLI!
it is really like being in Italy- will be there next month when I am teaching on the West Coast for the month.

Ahhhhh… can almost smell the espresso brewing! We so miss strolling our family hometown in Italy – my sister-in-law always has a pot of espresso brewing for me! She even steams the milk for the crema! Of course, I don’t remember the last time we made American coffee here in Florida – we collect the espresso pots and our toughest decision is always which cups to use – fancy demitasse, serviceable mini espresso shots, or larger mugs so we can just enjoy that extra large cappuccino guilt free!

I definitely vote extra large cappuccino…thanks for stopping by 🙂

I love that cappuccino picture! I can just about taste it from my screen. I am going to boot up your website on my macbook. I think images look better on a Mac!

Great animal photos too! Can I brink my 2 young boys to visit?

    Mark

Thanks Mark! And I agree about the Mac 🙂
