end of october, but still think pink!

Just as you surely remember that September was Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, I’m positive you also know that October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

But just because Halloween is here, which means October is coming to a close (how did that happen?!), it doesn’t mean that we have to stop thinking PINK*:

1. Someone asked for Pink…lol, 2. Pink hibiscus…, 3. Gradually Pink, 4. Smile!, 5. :: the pink daisy ::, 6. pink peep bunnies, 7. Pink!, 8. Petal Princess, 9. Pretty Pink Gingham Girls, 10. As far as costumes, my nephew Aidan is going to be a knight in shining armor and niece Alaina a little butterfly. Very cute!

  9. 10.31.2008

I’m ashamed that October came to an end, & I didnt think pink. Was telling my hub, that last year his bday cake was pink for Think Pink October, & this time I erred & thought coffee. That collage is inspirational & ever so pretty.

By the way, how do you say “Happy Halloween” in Italian? Buon Halloween??

girasoli’s last blog post..a happy halloween joke

I guess so. They’re really only just starting to “do” Halloween here, but they do call it “Halloween” so I suppose Buon Halloween works 🙂

Hi Michelle, I just found you through the lovely Paz. Great pink-themed photos! And I feel totally stupid that I didn’t know September was National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. I had a tiny scare with breast cancer about two years ago – it turned out to be a little ball of fat and water that felt lumpy (thank goodness). Ever since I’ve been screaming at friends to get used to giving themselves self-exams and educating themselves on the statistics as well as getting regular ob-gyn exams. Anyway, great pear salad recipe you passed on to Paz. Cheers, mari

Thanks for stopping by Mari! So happy that your scare was just that and not more. Good on you for pushing your loved ones to get checked!

I kind of wish I had those tea cups…and I have *no* idea where this year went. Crazy!
