love thursday:
a pair of cherries

I love whenever I come across food shaped like hearts.

Especially when they come in pairs.

  1. I “heart” cherries.

The cherry season seems to last longer here, which make me happy.

The cherries have been fabulous this year, I must say. We’re basically at the end of the season now, but oh what a season it was πŸ™‚

Cherries don’t last long enough to be photographed at my house! I can’t even make any desserts with them, they go so quickly!

This year we kept getting cherries from various sources, so I could’ve made a dessert if I *really* wanted, but I actually like cherries just the way they are better than in a dessert. Go figure πŸ™‚

I really like the second picture. Those are perfect hearts! Good thing you captured them before eating, or if is was in my house, I’d wait until they went bad, and then said, “I was going to take a picture of those!”

Angie, I’m terrible with that too! I’m always like, “I don’t want to eat them…they’re so cute…must take photo….” and then…mold. I’m getting better though πŸ™‚

Lovely pics! Cherries are practically the only fruit my daughter eats. In fact I couldn’t stop eating them when I was pregnant with her. That might be a reason.

the problem with Cherries is that they’re so good…. they never make it into a recipe for me. I think I’m ok with that though.:)

I’m OK with that too Joe πŸ™‚

Awww, how cute a pair of hearts!! I have a big cherry tree in my backyard and we are always trying to get rid of the cherries when it comes time to pick them but I don’t recall ever seeing any heart shaped ones….what a treat to eat!! πŸ™‚ Happy LT Michelle! πŸ™‚

Girl, you are just not going to believe this. I ate the better part of a bowl of cherries for lunch today… I swear.

I love it when I find hearts too… all around, and love abounds.

Lots and lots of love to you today, sweet friend.

Bing cherries always make me think of my mom. She could eat a bowl for lunch, and then another for a snack, and then more for dessert. Just totally hooked on the things. We lived down the street from an orchard, and one year, when i was old enough to know better, I pilfered some off of their trees for her, for Mother’s Day. They weren’t for sale yet, so that was the only way to get to them.

She tried to scold me for my thieving ways, but it was hard with her mouth full. πŸ˜‰
