interactive friday: blog my blog

I always love when Kailani of An Island Life plays “Blog My Blog.”

Now it’s Bleeding Espresso’s turn.

Here’s what happens:

1. I start with a question/phrase.

2. The first commenter answers that question and leaves a new question for the next visitor to answer. It could be a general question, fill in the blank sentence, a “tell me about a time when,” etc.

3. The next commenter answers the new question and provides a question for the following visitor (i.e., the third commenter).

4. And so forth until you’re all bored to tears. Yes, I expect actual tears before we stop (photographic evidence will do).

5. Note: I reserve the right to delete or modify any questions that, you know, rub me the wrong way. Ahem.

6. In a situation where two commenters have answered the same question and you’re next to answer, please either choose one of the questions or answer both; if you don’t answer both, you are free to pass along the question you didn’t use or come up with a new one. I can’t believe this has happened 3 times already today!

The first question:

When you close your eyes to go to sleep at night,
what do you see/think?

P.S. Buon weekend!

And go check out Barb’s Scalloped Potatoes for La Buona Cucina Americana!

Passing wind at THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, when it was really quiet and the girl was in the pit and Clarice was searching the dark. I sneezed and tooted at the same time and everyone in the movie theatre laughed their head off. It was one of the most intense scenes in the movie. There was not an empty seat in the movie theatre. Lucky for the guy beside me, it wasn’t a stinker. My boyfriend on the other side of me couldn’t stop laughing.

  25. 04.04.2008

I wish I could stop time, like Evie on “Out of this World.” I’m sure this would be useful in all sorts of situations, but I’ll admit the main reason it’s appealing is I could stop time when my alarm goes off and sleep in as long as I want every day.

Um, this probably isn’t a very good answer. I should have said “Flying,” right?

What is the best decision you’ve ever made?

Tina’s last blog post..Coming full circle – again

What’s the first thing you do after you get out of bed in the morning?

    Jientje’s last blog post..Proudly Proclaiming

I’m keeping a blog on books I’ve read this year. 14 book since Jan 1. My fav for this year so far was the latest “To Kill a Mockingbird”. The movie is good, but it can’t possibly cover the depth and breadth of the book. I highly recommend it. In fact if you want to see all the books I’ve read you can look at

    Books I’ve Read

My Q: Have you followed any diet in the recent past to lose weight? if so, did you lose any weight? did the diet work? do any diets work?

  45. 04.05.2008

“Over The Hills And Far Away” by Led Zeppelin

What book have you read in the recent past that you really enjoyed?

  46. 04.05.2008

I have never really been on a ‘diet’ as such, however I did try not to eat sweets for a few days…but failed straight away as since I was not allowed to have any, that was ALL I could think of! I decided it was best to have some when I want it, rather then obsess and think of sweets all the time.

I speak and read some Italian, and can understand it fairly well. It would be fun to learn French. Once on a business trip to Lyon, our associates were talking about boring business stuff but with a French accent it sounded so poetic!

    Q. (Inspired from a recent new book) If you could have just 1 more day with someone you loved that has passed away, who would it be and what would you do?

  51. I would love to spend just one more day with my ba noi (paternal grandmother). I don’t think we’d do much. Hold her hand one more time while she told me stories of her childhood. Help her in the kitchen and try to learn all of her recipes.

    Q. If you’re a blogger, what made you start blogging? If you’re not a blogger, what made you start reading blogs?

    Mary, the mother of Jesus!

If u had a choice to go back in time, what year would u go back to and why?

OK I’m going to answer this one and officially close our interactive weekend.

If I could go back in time, you better believe I’d be somewhere in Dallas, TX on November 22, 1963. I don’t know if I’d choose to be in the book depository, on the grassy knoll, or just on the parade route in general, but I’d be paying *very* close attention. Why? Because I *really* want to know what happened that day. A lot.

Thanks so much to everyone who played along! I really didn’t expect such a fabulous response–we’ll be sure to do this again soon, OK?
