Love Thursday: Have You Hugged a Goat Today?
I’ve written about finding goat zen in the goat pen before, and although I normally keep the goat-related posts over at Goat Berries, I just had to share some photos from this morning over here for Love Thursday.
Is it normal to tear up with joy when looking at your goats?
Eh, who wants to be normal anyway?
Happy Love Thursday!
P.S. Hug a goat.
Can I have some Maaaa? & I’ve got my eye on you are my favorite! I told my Mamma I would hug the goats all day long!
Believe me, it’s not easy to stay out of the goat pen for me! Thanks for coming over and commenting π
These guys are gorgeous!!!
Thanks Martha π
I LOVE goats <3
Me too! Thanks for coming by Krystina π
I’m so glad you didn’t confine these adorable creatures to Goatberries. So so adorable and they brought me a smile as my morning begins.
Well you have to come and visit on Goat Berries too π
The Pretty Pinta shot is so fun! π Thanks for a smile this morning.
Glad you enjoyed π
This cheered me enormously, Michelle. To answer your question…well, send one over & I will (hug a goat). I suppose a virtual hug will do for today.
ciao-meow
Susan & Giulia G.
Hugging a cat is great too, Susan!
Could the be any cuter? (Don’t tell them I said so, lest they get a big goat heads.)
Oh Nan, I’m afraid they’re already quite aware of their cuteness…I tell them every day π
I’m always happy to see the girls, no matter where it is! Please give them hugs from me, since there aren’t any goats around for me to hug myself π
Will give them lots of extra huggies for you, Auntie Beth!
Awwww… they are so cute
Thanks Judy!
Ah Michelle and your goats! Between your posts about your babies and a friend of mine here in PA who, with her husband, is now raising goats, I’m seeing so many pictures, reading a lot of all kinds of interesting stuff to about goats and learning too how sweet, cute -no make that beautiful, these little animals really are!
Keep it coming, Baby! Oh and also, Peace!
Haha you’ve been invaded! Glad you’re enjoying Jeni; they really are amazing creatures π
They are just adorable!
Thanks Jen, and thanks for visiting!
Normal is overrated. Hug away on those goats.
Will do! Thanks for commenting π
I agree. Who wants to be normal!
Hee hee, thanks π
Look at those sweet adorable faces….a mother should be proud and that would be you sweet M!….NORMAL..is loving our goaties! xo
Cliff and I came home this afternoon to find Sammie out of the pen and not knowing how he got there….never liking that…!
Ooooh Sammie…guess you can’t pry him with treats to let you in on the secret!
I’m so glad you are sharing your goats with us here. I also love goats. I was fortunate enough to work with goats in a zoo and raise a few of my own some years after that, milking, playing and enjoying life with them.
Happy goat times, Mimi! Thanks for sharing π
Your goats look so happy, clean, content, good looking, etc!!! It is a pleasure to look at your pictures.
Thank you, Gil; it’s always a pleasure for me to photograph my goaties π
What well cared for, sleek, elegant goats, truly la bella figura of the goat world!
Haha, thanks Jenny!
I too find it hard to NOT stay in our goats pen without hugging and getting kisses from everyone…we have 85 goats now. at baby time(Mar), we have up to 150, and Baby kisses are the Best…….
Baby kisses *are* the best! Thanks so much for coming by, Kat π
They really are awfully cute!
Thanks Jen π
They are so sweet! I could just kiss them. Do they get stinky? I think I have heard that only the males do that because of their male hormones. I do plan on having a goat or two when I retire. Somehow I don’t think I would be very happy getting up in the dark in the winter to milk them before I leave for work at 6:45 am so that plan will have to wait a while, darn it!
Actually goats are clean and not smelly — unless you have a male, as you said π Aside from their hormones, they tend to pee on themselves too, which can make for some unpleasant odors. Hope you get to share your life with goats some day — everyone should get the chance IMHO π
It is totally normal for me to tear up with joy when I’m spending time with my goats! Your pictures are wonderful.
Thanks Teresa! I knew you’d understand π
Perfectly normal to tear up…I do, and they aren’t even my goats.
Always a pleasure to see the little kids.
Thank you π
Oh Michelle! They are beautiful!!!!! I need some goats to hug! Can’t wait for the spring!
Jenn, I can’t wait till you have goats to hug π
