Umbria Slow: Food, Culture & Travel App

Umbria Slow: Food, Culture & Travel app

From the App Store:

“Get off the Rome-Florence-Venice beaten path and discover la dolce vita, slow style. If you’re dreaming of three-hour meals on cobblestone terraces overlooking rolling hills, fields of wildflowers surrounding ancient mountain hamlets, and hotel stays in medieval abbeys (all without the crowds of Tuscany), you have found your region. . . .

With complete offline in-app functionality (including maps), you don’t need an internet or phone connection to use the Slow Umbria app.”

My review:

Must-Have Umbria Travel App: If you’re headed to Umbria, leave the guidebook at home and get the Slow Umbria app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch stat. Alex Leviton and Rebecca Winke have left no Umbrian stone unturned in compiling this app, where you’ll find all the major sites likes Assisi, Orvieto, and Perugia as well as lesser known attractions, historical tidbits, and even advice for traveling with children. User-friendly to boot!
