love in the leaves

When I first started doing Love Thursday, I wasn’t sure whether I’d be able to keep it up. How could I possibly, continually find signs of love?

Well surprise, surprise–nearly two years later, and I simply can’t stop finding them. Everywhere I go I see hearts or other shows of our greatest, most powerful emotion. And it’s such a wonderful reminder that if you’ll only pay attention, love truly is all around.

Some of my favorite hearts are those found in nature; here are some examples of leafy love throughout this past summer:

I love that you are doing this. I have a long standing belief that people find exactly what they are looking for. If you’re looking for attitude, you’ll find it. If you’re looking for indifference, you’ll find it. If you’re looking for compassion, you’ll find it. And if you’re looking for love, you’ll find that too. Congratulations on finding love every week for two years. Keep it up.

Of course I do!!

I don’t look at leaves the same way anymore. I have something similar in my garden.

And I always keep my eyes peeled for those signs of love as well!!

I think that love is naturally occurring because it’s all around us, and in us, in everything – like energy, an intrinsic element of life that knows no bounds or limits.

Hi, I ‘m new here and just wanted to say that I’ve enjoyed browsing your blog. Especially since we seem to have several things in common: First of all, it’s so nice to come across another Yellow Dog Democrat, refreshing to see another blogger who shares the same political views as I. Then of course, we do have the same first name. And when I was browsing your pictures MeMe I saw that you liked Gilmore Girls, such a silly thing, but I absolutely love that show! My college age daughter and I watch it all the time. And last but not least, that pepper steak on White Rice sure looks good. I’m going to try that!

I love that you have a day a week to look for signs of love. It is amazing what you can find when you really pay attention to the things around you. I found a new travel site that I think you might enjoy, baraaza.com. You can review destinations, upload pics, and get info for our next trip.
