Fall in Philadelphia: Happy Thanksgiving!

Last year at this time, I was in Pennsylvania having Thanksgiving with my family. This year, I’m going to be spending the long weekend in northern Italy with Sara (Ms Adventures in Italy), Diana (A Certain Simplicity and Piemontescapes), and hopefully others I’ve only known virtually until now, but today with last year on my mind, I’d like to share some fall in Philadelphia shots from last November.

These are all taken in the Art Museum/Ben Franklin Parkway area — the area I lived in for five years:

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I’ll have to ask my sisters if the leaves are that colorful in Philly when I bug them later in the day…

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, Michelle! Gosh I’m such a sucker for fall in the East Coast…your pix reminded me of that. We don’t really get any of that here in SF. We will be chowing down with my family at my bro’s house. BTW I recently saw a movie that made me think of you…’18 years later’…Calabria is the backdrop…it’s a lovely film about life…and hilarious too!

Will look for it! Thanks Awedree!

All of these photos are beautiful. The trees, it’s the trees that get me. Look at the colour, gah! I miss the changing of the trees. The architecture is gorgeous too. It’s hard to believe a year has gone by already since you were stateside. Hope you are having a fantastic time w/friends in N.Italy for Thanksgiving. What fun. X
