Markus’s last name – Zalud – is originally a Czech name that means – you guessed it – acorn. I always thought, hey, he’s the acorn from the tree, and I’m the root.

Okay – so I’m a little late on the blog reading and it’s officially the day after Thanksgiving now but I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with friends and family here in our great state! Really makes me feel good -and thankful ya know too -that you were able to have this visit at this particular time of the year so you were able to celebrate WITH your family around you this year and not a couple thousand miles away!
