I adore the idea of pomegranates but they are never as tasty and delicious and I want them to be. Which is tragic. Also they taste better when my mom fixes them for me

I do love pomegranates. my favorite meal is a persian dish called fesenjan. It's chicken with a gravy of ground walnuts and pomegranate. Yummy!! I don't love trying to get pomegranate stains out of clothes. I LOVE pomegranates. It has been a while since I've eaten the fruit (tho' I drink pom. juice often). I remember eating them with salt, as a kid - just yummy!! Yes, I do love them & my Lord they are 2 for $6.00 in my market right now. I could scream...scene of the crime is correct. love them… used to pick them at my nonno’s in Calabria, then patiently take all the seeds out and place them into a bowl and eat them all up with a spoon. YUM!

Hah, I’m the scooper here, Joe, while P eats them as he cleans…THEN has some of mine with a spoon too.

way cute!!!!! how come those are darker than what we see here? temp/soil?
thanks for sharing. i’ll let you know when I do the post on my blog from the trip to the orchards and plant. amazing stuff. i know really do appreciate them.

Actually these are much darker than the ones we usually eat, which are normally yellowish in color–I guess these are just dark because they’re rotting? Don’t really know, but they’re a gorgeous fall color, I have to say
