Peanut butter and banana for sure (but I put peanut butter on both slices of bread), but the one that would be on even my short list was the french fries dipped in a Frosty (also works in a DQ chocolate milkshake)! Thanks for the memories.

PS: What are your thoughts on peanut butter and marshmallow fluff?

Cheese sandwich with ketchup and mustard.

Ummm...Wow - so one day you were just looking in the fridge and decided, let's see what random things I could create and see how they taste?

The Wendy's combo actually sounds interesting...I might try that when I get back to the States over Xmas.

I can't think of any random food combinations I like...I guess I am not a very creative eater :)

Thanks for responding to my tag!

Ciao ciao!

I'm with you on the tuna - but our family recipe?

tuna
mayo
chopped green olives

Made up by my Dad, for my sister, whose favorite sandwich was cream cheese and green olives and the tuna recipe is still my fave to this day.

jen of a2eatwrite’s last blog post..Wow! And thank yous...

OK, both of those with green olives sound great to me...YUM!

I used to eat Wendy's fries dipped in a frosty all the time. I love the salty/sweet of it. I also like to pop a mini bag of popcorn and toss in a handful of chocolate chips. Yum!

As for strange, my dad used to eat peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches and I loved them as a kid. I haven't tried them in a while, but now I'm curious to see if I'd still like it.

Well that one's all up to you...although it does seem that everything is good with peanut butter ;)

Thanks for doing the meme! I love some of your combinations, but the cheese sandwich with ketchup and mustard? A little icky.

I love jalapeno bagels with mixed berry cream cheese. It's sort of like those jalapeno poppers - but in a bagel.

Dutch pretzels broken up in chocolate ice cream. Love the salty sweet combo.

A-1 Sauce on Italian bread - yes, an A-1 Sandwich!

I also love the peanut butter and banana sandwiches - but my new twist on them is to have it on a toasted honey wheat english muffin - the supersized ones.

Popcorn and sliced cheddar cheese - pop a few pieces of corn in with a slice of cheddar. For some reason, very yummy.

I think that's about it....one thing I won't eat and brings me to the edge of vomiting every time Ed orders it? A tuna melt. OMG, I'm a little queasy just thinking about it. I love tuna, I love cheese, but not together and definitely NOT hot. OMG.

Buon Appetito!

You know, I'm not crazy about tuna melts either; I would never order one in a restaurant, but there's something about the one with hummus described above that intrigues....

Pretzels and ice cream?! One of my all-time favorites :) I like them with vanilla ice cream, mainly, whereas I prefer chips (alongside, not in) chocolate ice cream.

Ooh now I'm hungry......

I grew up eating baked pork chops and my grandmas homemade sauerkraut. Yum! The only way I eat tuna fish sandwiches are like this: tuna salad made with miracle whip and chopped onions on toast (let cool a bit) and spread butter on both sides of the toast. This is my grandmas way. I have had regular old tuna fish sandwiches but they don't taste the way they should!

Good to know I'm not only on my tuna fish requirements, although I have to say, I *really* dislike Miracle Whip. More for you ;)
