It's funny how animals can really brighten one's life. I left my dog (yorkiepoo) with my mom when my dad passed and she fought me tooth and nail, saying she didn't want him, the responsibility and such. Now they are inseparable. He really helped my mom pull it together and she is totally in love with him now. I swear when I'm home on a weekday instead of at work she's tweaked because her routine is interrupted. Her favorite spot is on the back of the couch looking out the window at the world and the birdies.
