Sognatrice! Seems everytime I visit you, there’s so much more new *stuff* you’ve added! I found this article purely by accident – from your livefeed (which listed me as being from Pfullendorf?), I saw the title in another readers “history.” Sorry if I sound like a techie-wimp, but this stuff boggles my mind – or bloggles, more like it. Thanks very much for the tips. Blogs seem to be time consuming, labor intensive and obviously the best ones radiate heart and soul, so a lot of emotional energy goes into them as well.

There are so many people worldwide writing eloquently on such a wide variety of subjects, I’m just constantly in awe of what’s out there on the subjects that interest me.

I fully agree about feedback. I was contributing regularly to a blog from which I got almost no feedback from the author, and decided in the end it wasn’t worth it. I also noticed other regular contributors have dropped off as well.

Really enjoy your blog, and others on Italian life. Here’s hoping the global financial crisis doesn’t cramp your style!

So glad you enjoyed this Helena! If possible, I feel even stronger about the feedback point now than when I originally wrote this–I’ve really stopped visiting many places at which the authors really don’t interact at all with readers. I just don’t see the point.
