I really like your successful things. And while I don't like memes, this one is an exception!

Sara, your proclamation of "Luna belly" made me smile--that's just what I say :) And yes, let them stare...although, really, knitting on shrubs? Yeah, I'd probably stare too. And then want to see the photos, of course!

Luna belly!!! Hee!

My neighbors think I'm weird, too. They often catch me talking to birds and squirrels and blowing bubbles in my front yard. Lately they've been seeing me on my belly in the street trying to photograph the face of each of the 100 daffodils I planted last fall, now in bloom.

That's okay. Yarn Harlot has said her neighbors think she's weird because she's always putting knitting on shrubs and photographing it.

Whatever. Let them all get all squinty-faced and move away quickly. We know how to have fun.

Sognatrice- I love your secrets to success. I agree with all of them, but most of all telling people you love them. That and enjoying nature. When I was in Sardegna with Emma, our best ideas came when we were at the beach looking out into the ocean, not sitting inside in front of a computer. Here's to daily success!
Ciao!

Bella, thanks. Although I don't feel calm and at peace at the end of every day, at least I try, right?

John, thanks for sharing what you were thinking after reading this; P is a morning rusher (albeit without kids in the mix), and I really think if he'd slow down he'd be calmer and more relaxed. But what do I know? Everyone's different.

Jessica, I'm glad you found me too! A morning walk with the dog is so wonderful on so many levels, it's hard to put it into words. Best of luck with your writing course!

I've just found you at Frances's place..stopping by to say hello!
Luna is so sweet...what a wonderful way to start the day!

I walk every morning with my gorgeous dog; if I've done that,I come back feeling I can deal with anything!

I also have to say how much I agree with the importance of writing every day. I'm starting a writing course tomorrow and I'm hoping it will get me doing just that. Having a blog has definietly helped me even though I haven't managed to write every day so far...if I've had writers block, a few minutes of blogging has always got me going.

Apart from which, there are some really inspiring people to read around here!:) Glad to have found you here.

I do a bit of what you do, but wish I could get my wife to do the same. She generally gets up in a rush getting the kids ready for school and then stays tense all day. Ok, I guess I'd better start doing some of what she does. That would ease the tension some. I do make the coffee and if she is still in bed bring it to her. Now I just have to give her the feeling that she has time to drink it. Thanks for making me think. Ciao, John
