   OK, so did ‘P’ see you snaping away at that? If my family caught me taking a photo of an empty frying pan with leftover oil, they would think I was nuts. They already ask me why I take so many photos of food.
   Good eye though. Take it as a sign. Love is all around you.

   You are good, Sognatrice. It is wonderful that you saw that, in that sea of olive oil. Is that Nambe in the shot as well?

   Love is all around, indeed. Often in the areas you would never expect, like in the movement of a hand, or in the crumbs on a cutting board.

    Girlfriend - I love the sentiments, but I just can’t… I have a pet rabbit.
    Yeah, yeah, I know.. I’m a carnivore - but I can’t do the rabbit thing.
    But I do agree that the kitchen is a place of love!

    Very cool photo. Yes love is all around but sometimes we are so busy we don’t see it. I am working on changing that situation in my life.

    Anne, I’ll definitely do a post on “The History of Love” when I finish–I’m absolutely loving it so far!

    Giulia, P did roll his eyes a bit, but mostly he just ignored me; he’s used to it now

    GT, if you’re talking about the spoon, I seriously doubt it; it’s just one from P’s mom’s collection of a million spoons. We use hers because they’re the biggest spoons I’ve ever seen. The pan is T-Fal in case anyone was wondering.

    Bella, yes, I commented on the recipe post that I understand those that have bunnies for pets really couldn’t eat rabbit. I’ve never had a rabbit as a pet, but I was also squeamish to try at first; now it’s just an everyday part of life…but I still can’t even watch the dirty work.

    Bonggamom, I have no idea how it happened! In fact, once I moved the pan so that the hole closed up, I tried to make a heart hole again (or any separation of the oil) and couldn’t for the life of me.

    I was just hoping it wasn’t a sign of malocchio

    Great capture! My family is southern so love is in our kitchen. My grandma shows love through food so I have to be careful - cannot turn down love

    “Of Mice and Men” by Steinbeck…All the big retarded guy Lenny wanted in life was to have a place of his own where he could raise rabbits.
    My son had loved the book in middle school and it got him on the rabbit thing, so when we finally actually got one….

    Elizabeth, I’ve never read “Of Mice and Men,” so now I don’t feel so bad (old and forgetful) for not catching the reference We read “The Red Pony,” which I don’t have fond memories of….

    Sara, good point that olive oil is actually good for the heart. You think I could do an ad campaign or something?

    AA, luckily I had just taken photos of dinner, so the camera was on the other side of me. Actually, it did stay for quite a few minutes as I played with the close-up, etc. Once I picked up the pan, though, it was gone within seconds.
