a virtual tour

Why yes I do happen to have some photos of my village. Thanks for asking!

From a photo-taking point in the piazza:

The main street, or as we say, Il Corso:

La piazza:

A cute building on the piazza that I think would be perfect for an Internet café:

 Above the piazza:

More interesting photos to appear here periodically.

      Ohhhh, very pretty.
Now, have these photos been taken with the new camera that Santa brought? :) Great pixel-age!

Giulia, yes, the new camera is responsible for these pics. I’m still playing though, so hopefully I’ll get better.

Kristen, oh, I got some Italy right here for ya (meant in a completely non-threatening, virtual way). I love your website design, btw…but when will you get one of these here blog thingees?

The shots really do justice to the beauty of Calabria. Are people swimming in the sea at this time of the year? My wife has to retire from teaching so we can visit Italy in the Fall or WInter.

Your tiny village is so cute! I’d love to hear more about it. It sounds like a dream. I miss being in Europe so much and want to move back permanently.. Now and not later… Argh! I’m curious to know if you had an EU passport when you went to Italy?

Thanks; I rather love my little village too :) I didn’t have an EU passport when I arrived, but I got Italian citizenship not too long thereafter (relatively) though Italian blood on my dad’s side.
